The National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA), established in 1959, stands as a prominent non-profit professional society with a steadfast commitment to the enhancement of research administration. Through a variety of educational and professional development initiatives, NCURA facilitates the exchange of knowledge and experiences while fostering a diverse, collegial, and respected global community.

With a membership exceeding 7,500 individuals from over 1,100 institutions—including colleges, universities, teaching hospitals, and research institutes across 40 countries—NCURA plays a vital role in promoting dialogue and understanding among research administrators both domestically and internationally.
